Prof. Hadi SLIM is a French/Lebanese Law Professor. He studied Law in Lebanon at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut before receiving with highest honors a Ph.D. in Private International Law from the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas). He has been teaching since 1993 in several French Universities and was admitted to the grade of full Professor in 2004. He holds currently the position of Director of the Master’s Program in International Business Law at François-Rabelais University in France and was the co-director of the LL.M. Program Business Law Arab World and Middle East and the Sorbonne Law School (Paris 1 University).

Professor Hadi SLIM is a member of the French Branch of the International Law Association, the French Committee of Arbitration, the Comparative Law Society, the Executive Board of the Lebanese Review of Arab and International Arbitration, the Editorial Committee of Majallat al-Tahkeem al-Aalamiya and was between 2015 and 2019 a member of the team representing Lebanon at UNCITRAL. He is regularly appointed as counsel, arbitrator or expert in international arbitration proceedings and can conduct arbitration in English, French and Arabic. His areas of teaching and research are Civil law, Private International Law, International Business Law, Comparative law, Arbitration Law and Investment Law.
