Andrés Jana is a founding partner of Jana & Gil Dispute Resolution.

 

He is a lawyer, arbitrator and international expert in the resolution of commercial, investment and public international law disputes before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and under the international arbitration rules of ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, AAA and SCC, among others. He has also acted in local courts in different jurisdictions, such as Chile, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States and Argentina.

 

Andrés is Vice President of the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (2021-2024) and Chair of Working Group II on Dispute Settlement at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).He is a member of the ICSID panel of arbitrators, member of the London Court of International Arbitration, member of the SIAC Council, member of the ICC Latin American Arbitration Group and founding member and vice-president of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB). Andrés has been a professor of private law at the Universidad de Chile since 1997.
