Fatima Ghaith is an independent arbitrator and mediator with extensive experience in international arbitration and domestic arbitration in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Trained as an arbitrator and mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, having worked both as an arbitrator and counsel on high-value arbitration disputes. She is a highly accomplished lawyer with licenses in Bahrain, England and Wales and Scotland and was previously called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2006. Possesses over 18 years of legal expertise, honed through leadership roles at Weatherford International, a globally listed oil and gas service company. She currently serves as the Associate General Counsel for the company, overseeing legal affairs for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
She worked before as a banking and finance and project finance associate, specialising in Islamic Finance with Baker & McKenzie in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
