Dr. Pinky Anand is a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and former Additional Solicitor General of India, is a recognized arbitrator at SIAC, DIAC, DIFC Courts, AIAC Malaysia and ICA India. She has represented India in international forums including BRICS and SCO forums. Leading the ADR Committee of LawAsia and contributing as a founding member of the BRICS Legal Forum. Dr. Anand is a published and renowned expert in Private International Law and a Door Tenant at the renowned No. 5 Barristers Chambers, London. A graduate of Harvard Law, she has had a distinguished legal career at the Bar for over 40 years, having represented the Government of India in matters of corporate and financial fraud. Dr. Anand was tasked with handling important International Arbitrations for the Republic of India during her term as ASG. Dr Anand has successfully represented Public Sector Undertakings, including the Steel Authority of India, NHAI, NHIDCL, and NBCC. She has presided over several arbitrations and continues to appear in arbitrations both domestically and internationally. She is a member of the Governing Body and an accredited arbitrator by the ICA. These are just some of the feathers in her illustrious cap as a counsel par excellence.
